Expectant and New Parents are invited to participate in sessions designed to support their role as a new parent.
Expectant Parents Class
Parents who are pregnant or anticipating an adoption may attend parenting sessions especially designed for new parents.
Parents meet with a Parent Educator in their home, the 4-C office or another location to discuss preparing their home for a child, anticipatory guidance, child development and many other topics.
4-C utilizes the Baby TALK curriculum that supports early literacy and the importance of parent/child bonding.
Expectant parents receive information for as long as requested as they parent their child during the early years.
New Parent Class
Parents with children aged birth to three years receive parenting sessions developed to support them during the very important early years.
4-C utilizes the Baby TALK curriculum to support early parenting, including literacy development, anticipatory guidance, understanding and observing developmental milestones, and many other topics of interest to the family.
