SAYD Credential 1 Module 2b: Early Adolescent Development (Ages 11-16)
This session will discuss developmental characteristics of early adolescents and recognize that those in this stage may appear more as school-age children in some areas, and an adolescent in others. Other topics will include risk taking, looking into the teenage brain, moral development, and “productive engagement”.
4-C is fortunate to be joining with the CCR&R Agency out of Peoria to offer this training credential! How is this different? For some of the sessions, you may not see familiar faces like Ann and Jen, but rather one of the staff from Peoria. Otherwise, it’s business as usual! For questions, contact Ann at firstname.lastname@example.org or Jen at email@example.com
