SAYD Credential Level 1 Module 2a: School-Age Development
This session will explore the general characteristics and what to look for when working with children ages 5-12. It will also discuss what to do and how to address children or youth who may have special needs. Participants will also discuss protective factors and how to offer a safety net for children and youth who may be struggling. This session will also introduce five goals that will help guide your approach when working with children and youth.
4-C is fortunate to be joining with the CCR&R Agency out of Peoria to offer this training credential! How is this different? For some of the sessions, you may not see familiar faces like Ann or Jen, but rather one of the other staff from Peoria. Otherwise, it’s business as usual! For questions, contact Jen at firstname.lastname@example.org or Ann at email@example.com
