Crying is the only way that a baby can communicate his or her needs. Shaken Baby Syndrome occurs when an infant or young child is shaken vigorously, often out of frustration, in an attempt to stop a baby from crying. Learn what shaken baby syndrome is, when it more often occurs, methods to help a crying baby, steps to take to help prevent this syndrome, and effects of this 100% preventable tragedy.
