DESCRIPTION:Children and families count on child care providers to be prepared when disasters strike.  This two-part training series will describe recognized child care emergency preparedness standards and discuss how to incorporate them into an emergency plan.  We will identify and discuss emergencies that may affect your program/home.  Ways to support the emotional needs of children and caregivers will be discussed as well as resources available to support child care emergency preparedness.  This training is a two part series with each training being 3 hours long.  You must attend all six hours in order to receive credit. \nTrainer: Maggie Fern\, 4-C Recruitment\, Retention\, Referral\, and Outreach Specialist \nAudience: All Providers \n6 Training Hours; Level of Learning: Introductory \nFee: \nNon 4-C Members: $10 \n4-C Members: Free
