SUMMARY:Supporting LGBTQ+ Young People
DESCRIPTION:This training will support an introductory understanding of various gender and sexual identities for young people whose identity development includes connection to LGBTQ+ identities. The training will be both informative and conversational\, and will make room to challenge outdated or problematic understandings of gender and sexuality. The goal is to increase individual capacity for understanding identity in service of being able to better support LGBTQ+ young people in your care. The Nurtured Heart Approach is used in a variety of settings and can be utilized by childcare providers.
