SUMMARY:An Introduction to the Environment Rating Scales (ERS)
DESCRIPTION:This training is for center-based programs and family child care providers and offers an overview of the Environment Rating Scales. The Environment Rating Scales are user-friendly assessment tools that measure the quality of the learning environment for infants through school-age children. After completing this training\, participants will be able to use the tool(s) for program self-assessment and improvement planning. \n\nMax attendance: 25 (prioritization will be determined in consultation with trainer)–We ask that currently you prioritize meeting the “50% of staff criteria” rather than enrolling all staff (for example\, starting with all Lead Teachers).  We will exercise the right to limit the number of staff at any one training from one center or home.  This practice will allow more providers to meet the requirement. We will be offering this training on a regular rotating schedule to ensure provider needs are met.\n\nTrainer: Barb Christmas\, 4-C Quality Specialist \nAudience: All Providers \n4 Training Hours; Level of Learning: Intermediate \nFee: $10 non-refundable and non-transferrable fee to register \nRegistration Deadline: Friday\, 8/26/2022
