Hello, I am Andrea Cossey your mental health consultant with 4-C/SDA2. My role is to support YOU and YOUR STAFF’s mental health and well-being so that you can, in turn, care for children to the best of your ability. I certainly don’t have all the answers, or many of them, in this unprecedented situation; but I am offering a time to come together, reflect with one another, and regulate ourselves. This meeting is open to providers providing emergency care to essential workers and those who are sheltering at home as well. The goal of this time and space is to allow you to connect with other providers over common experiences. My hope is that you’ll leave feeling even 10% better. Also, Maggie Mosca, Caregiver Connections, Associate Director, will be joining our Community Zoom meeting.
This is obviously voluntary! Come when you can, if you can. Come at the beginning, in the middle or for the last 5 min, there are absolutely no rules. If you’ve never used Zoom, it is just like FaceTime or Skype. It is helpful to have reliable internet and a device with camera capabilities–so a computer webcam, phone or iPad that has a camera capabilities. If you don’t have those, there is a call in number for you to simply call in without video. Please share this with any/all staff members, colleagues, or others at your organization–there is no “requirement” to be in the group.
Here is the link to register for the Community Zoom meeting. Feel free to register in advance.
